Captain Paul, a long time teacher and member of the community instructs school groups and other parties about this amazing resource with hands on demonstrations and snorkel adventures on and in Kauai's Seas. In 1997, SOS performed the world's first Reef Check on Kauai with over 250 volunteers in the water. Since that time, Captain Paul and the SOS Organization have spent thousands of hours teaching other children and adult groups about how to monitor, preserve and protect the fragile reef ecosystems of Hawaiian waters. If you are out in the water and see something that looks questionable, let SOS know.
